The property is clean, stylish and in a fantastic location. Easy access to the walled town.
Not having someone there. I know that not having a person onsite keeps the costs down but when you first arrive and not sure what you are doing it would help knowing you could talk to someone. The only other problem encountered was the shower room door in the George’s room was faulty.

Location and room
Parking was very complicated, machine that was supposed to keep the welcome wine fresh was not functioning

The room was clean, comfortable and had all the mod cons. It is ideally situated on the side streets of Carcassonne Castle. Breakfast was ok but weird. Food was left out on the table and at a service counter but the breads were not labelled (I’m gluten free) so I wasn’t sure what I could and couldn’t have.
No staff at all to call on for help and the parking situation was confusing. No welcome just a key on a hook and a code to get in. Breakfast was OK, but the fruit was old. There is a tourist tax they ask you to pay but no where to put it but near the sign that says you need to pay it. Strange little set up.
