The property was of an ideal size for us and our 15 months baby. It is very quite, surrounded by fruit trees orchards and farm fields.
Despite arriving later than expected, Steve was present to welcome us and brief us on the house an surroundings.
The cottage is in good condition, especially the kitchen and bathroom that look almost new. The kitchen is very well equipped.
We even had the pleasant surprise of finding fresh milk, local apple juice and cross buns which were great for our first breakfast.
Tina and Steve provided us with a travel cot bed, high chair and baby bath for our son. This was very helpful and we didn’t need to bring ours for the long weekend.
They are many toys, games and books available to borrow in the laundry room, and for all ages. Even for adults with a badminton set. And lots of space outside to play.
The colourful fishes in the pond (protected by a fence so safe for children) are huge and very feisty and noisy when eating and we enjoyed watching them.
It is a very good base to explore the area with so many places to visit within a 30 minutes drive (Canterbury, Broadstairs etc…).
We definitely recommend the place and won’t hesitate to go back.

The cottage is well equipped and clean and remained particularly cool during the recent heatwave - due to its orientation and the fact it is surrounded by greenery.
It was very quiet location not too far from A257.
A pleasant welcome from Tina and Steve on arrival and all was explained,
$$$$
