Atmospheric location and quirky accommodation, fun for children. There was plenty of space (inside and out). The owner was there to explain everything, then left us alone. Off road parking with lighting on the field after dark.
The kitchen area is a bit basic for any significant food prep, but is fine for a night or two. The shower is also a bit stark, but works.

Loved the location, the rural countryside aspect and the quirkiness of it! Stan was welcoming and chatty.
It was really dirty. And I didn’t find it very child friendly. Due to the dirt on the floor I was nervous about my toddler rolling around on the floor. Lots of spiders, cobwebs (which my older daughter was terrified of) and just really grimy. Some places hadn’t been cleaned in months I think. Stan was friendly but not very responsive to texts or calls (I tried to call twice when we couldn’t find the property). No WiFi and poor reception so didn’t feel fully safe
