We had a cozy room on the top floor facing north with wonderful views and excellent air flow. The breakfasts were out of this world, and the service was very pleasant. They also bake some great cakes and cookies. It’s also well located for two wonderful walks. The stone circle and Walla Crag.

From the minute we arrived, the staff could not have done more for our party, extremely helpful and friendly. The property was spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was perfect with a good variety and good quality ingredients. We had the perfect stay!

This family run hotel is very comfortable and full of character. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Great views of the surrounding hills.
I really liked having access to fresh milk that we could take up our room to make tea.
The room was well equipped- useful USB charging point on the wall beside the bedside table. Breakfast excellent - hot food cooked perfectly to order and a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit etc at the buffet.
The EV charger was very convenient.
The hotel is not licensed but there is a cabinet in the lounge with a great selection of glasses that can be used with any drinks you bring in.
All in all our lovely accommodation ensured we had a very enjoyable short break at the lakes. 😊
