The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Everything had been thought of even down to the little pair of scissors needed to get into the complementary hot chocolate! The owner, Lorna, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very much at home. She helped us with any questions that we had and presented us with the most wonderful breakfast every morning! When we venture to the Lake District again we will definitely be staying here!
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Everything was amazing! Lorna had literally thought of everything. The room had everything we could have needed and my little boys were also catered for a million times better than most places would. Breakfast was amazing as well. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Everything about the property was perfect!

Great location. Cosy traditional Lakeland property.

The lovely way i was treated, the information to visit places that were close and the beautiful breakfast that Lorna prepared, it was a great experience and very well located.
