Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Strand von Recanati in einer ruhigen und sicheren Gegend. Die Wohnung hat einen langen Balkon mit Markise und schönen, handgefertigten Tischen aus Ätna-Lavastein. Eine Waschmaschine steht auf dem Balkon. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen Seitenblick auf den Strand und das Meer.
Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Sie ist ausgestattet mit: Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel, Grill, Tischen und Liegestühlen, Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Sonnenschirm.
Alle Basics zum Kochen sind vorhanden, inklusive Öl, und Balsamico.
Das Meer ist toll. Es ist klar und sauber. Es gibt einen Kies-/Sandstrand. Am Strand gibt es eine Bar.
Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte sind zu Fuß in drei Minuten erreichbar.
Die Bushaltestelle für Verbindungen nach Catania und Taormina ist nur fünf Gehminuten entfernt.
Gleich um die Ecke befindet sich „Sicily by Car”, wo man Autos und Motorroller mieten kann.
Zu unserer Überraschung haben wir kleine Geschenke vorgefunden: Biskuits und leckeres Eis aus einer lokalen Eismanufaktur.
Der Kontakt zu Giulia war lobenswert. Sie hat alle unsere Fragen schnell über WhatsApp beantwortet.
Zudem gab sie uns viele Tipps zu Orten und Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Mit dem Auto sind unzählige Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar: Taormina, der Ätna, Savoca, Catania, Syrakus, Agrigent und die Alcantara-Schlucht.
Naxos selbst hat einen schönen archäologischen Park.
Direkt gegenüber liegt das große UNA Hotel. In zwei Wochen gab es nur zwei größere Animationsshows, die schon um 23 Uhr endeten. Sonst gab es entweder nichts oder es war nichts zu hören. Die Veranstaltungen im Hotel haben uns daher überhaupt nicht gestört. Wir haben stattdessen die italienische Musik (Cutugno, Celentano, Modugno) auf dem Balkon mit italienischem Wein genossen. :)

Really lovely apartment, it has literally everything you could ever need! Comfortable, clean, excellent location, large balcony, beach front, fabulous food at the Navi Lido. We would definitely pick this apartment again. Parking can be a little tricky, there are a couple of Paid Parking facilities close by - we were lucky and didnt need to use them. Giulia was very helpful, welcoming and responsive. Thank you Giulia for the lovely treats you provided for our arrival.
We will be back some day 😁

Il posto è delizioso, arredato con cura e pulitissimo. L'appartamento è attrezzato di tutto: lavatrice, lavastoviglie, microonde, cambi di asciugamani e lenzuola, ampio balcone vista mare con barbecue, tavolini e sdraio, aria condizionata, ventole, ombrellone per la spiaggia... Ma soprattutto è davanti al mare. A 20 metri grande spiaggia. Mare cristallino con ghiaia.
Il bus per l'aeroporto e altre destinazioni è vicino (10 minuti a piedi).
Dietro l'angolo un Sicily by Car che affitta auto e motorini.
C'è silenzio (se si esclude il camion della spazzatura e una sera ogni tanto musica nell'hotel vicino ma solo fino a mezzanotte massimo).
Area tranquilla e sicura in cui vivono famiglie.
Anche se non l'ho mai vista, la proprietaria è super disponibile.
Intorno non c'è molto. La movida è a mezz'ora a piedi. I minimarket in zona sono cari come il fuoco e non hanno molto. Per comprare carne e verdure a prezzi ragionevoli è necessaria una lunga scarpinata. Per il supermercato vero ci vuole la macchina. Anche i ristoranti vicini sono piuttosto cari.
Potrebbero tardare utili delle bici. Taormina è a mezz'ora di bus.
Stranamente, bagno senza bidet con doccino, cosa strana in Italia.

Very nice apartment, fully equipped, nearby sea, nice village, public transport good, nice neighborhood, good communication with property owner.
Low score 5 is because of issue with tourist tax. I was not informed about amount of tourist tax (2 EUR/person, total 48 EUR). Once I booked apartment I got message from property owner:
"Upon receipt of your documents, you will receive a link to conveniently pay the tourist tax by credit card. It is essential to understand that this tax is not included in the booking price and must be paid separately according to regulations from Booking. The tourist tax amounts to €2 per adult per day, while children up to 12 years old are exempt from this charge.
Once these steps are completed, I will promptly provide you with all the necessary details to access the apartment and conduct a smooth self check-in process."
Why owner does not mention it in the offer? During paying on booking.com stays "taxes and charges included" and later on specifies 10% VAT tax and City tax.
Property owner refers to booking.com terms and conditions but who reads it!? And even if booking.com includes disclaimer that additional charges may apply, it does not specify amount. And amount of tourist tax was known to do property owner before booking. Why does she not inform about amount of tourist tax in the offer which needs to be paid?
Have in mind that I was in February so most of issues related to overcrowding (parking, noise due to parties from nearby UNA hotel) did not apply. There were works ahead of house related to strengthening beach with stones which created noise from 8 pm until afternoon but this cannot be predicted ahead.
