Location. Proximity to the beach.
1. Third floor, no elevator. This information should be clearly stated and easy to find in the property description. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
2. Very low living room ceiling. The ceiling was so low that all of us bumped our heads several times, making it uncomfortable to move around.
3. Weak Wi-Fi signal. The connection was unreliable and did not work at all in the bedroom next to the bathroom.
4. Host’s attitude. The host’s communication came across as somewhat authoritarian rather than warm, welcoming, and cordial. A friendlier approach would have made the experience more pleasant.
