A poorly managed, poorly equipped and uncomfortably hot property, with unexpected charges and none of the basic amenitie

Location

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and, in my opinion, not up to the standard expected of a professionally managed property. We were not allowed to check in early, despite arriving at the property and being outside in approximately 35°C heat, while the property appeared to be completely unoccupied. We were told that we could not check in until the required £500 deposit was paid. This deposit was only communicated to us at the last minute and was not clearly disclosed during the booking process. We were also told there would be a £30 charge for leaving our luggage, although we did not end up leaving our luggage at the property. The accommodation itself was extremely poorly equipped. There were no toiletries, tissues, drinking water, fresh towels, broom or dustpan, and no Wi-Fi was provided. When we asked about the Wi-Fi, we were simply told that we had to plug in the box ourselves. The weather was extremely hot, yet there was no fan or any form of cooling. The apartment became unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to sleep. We had very little proper sleep during our stay and were genuinely eager to leave because of how uncomfortable it was. The bed was also very uncomfortable, and the property did not appear to have been cleaned to a professional standard. We were expected to clean up ourselves, yet were not even provided with the basic equipment required to do so. There was also no basic gesture such as a bottle of water, which would have been particularly appreciated given the heat. Overall, the combination of the unexpected £500 deposit, the attempted £30 luggage charge, refusal to accommodate an early check-in despite the property apparently being vacant, lack of basic amenities, poor ventilation, uncomfortable bed, questionable cleanliness and lack of Wi-Fi made this a very unpleasant stay. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property and would not stay here again.

The location is good

My advice is before you rent this property. Make sure you read the terms and conditions properly. They can easily use It’s against you which the deed to me. I almost lost the property. I feel it is a scam. after they confirm my booking they asked hold £500 which I think was unfair price.

The flat was very neat and exactly as it appeared in the photos. The free parking was a huge plus for my stay as well.

We were really disappointed with the ‘shower head’ above the bathtub that didn’t have any connection to the water tap at all. It was purely cosmetic and unusable. So, you are forced to use the bathtub which didn’t seem so clean when we arrived- with very slow draining water, as well. The kitchen sink also seemed to need a more thorough cleaning.
