This hotel was lovely. Situated on a cliffside with access to a part sand/part rocky beach, it provided a lovely oasis. There was plenty of greenspace to relax and watch the sunset. The pool was refreshing, but often crowded. The restaurant had amazing food, particularly for vegetarians. And prices were very good. The service was a little slow and not clearly organized, but the staff were all kind and helpful when asked. We stayed in a family room which was clean and comfortable, but did not have a balcony. If the opportunity arose, we would happily return to Bambuda Santa Catalina.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The location, atmosphere, and people made it a truly special experience, even though our trip ended with a devastating earthquake.
My heart breaks for the owners, staff, and entire Santa Catalina community who have been impacted by this disaster. This is such a special place, filled with wonderful people, and I know this hotel will come back from this.
I hope travelers will continue to support this hotel and this beautiful community as they rebuild. We will absolutely be back. ❤️
