The beautiful and incredibly helpful Tatanya who works front of house. The room was Gorgeous. The shower was amazing. The fresh wholesome and healthy breakfast was Devine. Absolutely loved this place and will always come back here when I’m in Rio!

A localização é ótima, a 5 minutos andando do Largo dos Guimarães, onde tem vários barzinhos e restaurantes legais. Mas ao mesmo tempo não é exatamente no Largo, o que poderia tornar a acomodação barulhenta.
O quarto é ótimo, super confortável e limpo. O ar condicionado gela bem e o chuveiro tem água bem quentinha. A cama e travesseiros são confortáveis.
A equipe é toda bem receptiva e simpática!
A decoração do hotel e a galeria são bem legais também.
Por fim, o café da manhã estava bem gostoso e é servido na mesa, não em forma de buffet.
Eu gostei muito de tudo, para ficar perfeito só a TV que poderia ser Smart e a porta fica bem diretamente em frente ao hall principal, o que nos faz ouvir o que falam do lado de fora, embora o hotel seja bem silencioso em geral, não tivemos problema para dormir.

I really enjoyed my 5-day stay here. The breakfast was homemade and outstanding, with fresh, high-quality products. The room was spacious and bright, with a lovely artistic atmosphere that suited the character of Santa Teresa perfectly. The location was excellent, in a lively neighbourhood with music and plenty of bars and places to go out in the evening. The bathroom was very nice and the shower worked perfectly throughout my stay.
Overall, I appreciated the atmosphere, the fantastic breakfast and the great location, a special thanks to Taty, Anunciacao and Thelma, 10/10 :)
The cleanliness could be improved in some areas. I noticed a few stains on the bed sheets and the fridge was not particularly clean. The room also tended to feel a little humid. As the building is old, the windows do not provide much sound insulation, and street noise can be noticeable, especially because the hotel is located on a blind bend where cars often honk to warn oncoming traffic. However, these issues were manageable, and overall the room was reasonably clean and comfortable. One thing worth clarifying for future guests is that payment is made directly at the property. This was not entirely clear to me when booking through Booking.com, so making this information more explicit would be helpful.
