We had a great time at VR Tulum. The staff and food was great. We also got to see Turtles lay eggs 2 of the nights that we were there right on the beach outside of our door. My family and I had a great time!

I loved everything about VR club tulum. The staff was very welcoming and kind and polite. Pools are great. The beach had seaweed, but that’s out of any humans control—Mother Nature! The only thing is that the shower water doesn’t get very hot but it’s still warm. Also, it was my birthday and my dads and they gave a cute cake with a cute decoration on the bed. I can’t wait to go back!!!

I would fairly say this is a 3 star hotel and for that they delivered. 4 star no. All 3 pools were green with algae, and the jacuzzi was cold. They did a good job of cleaning the sargasso and making a usable space in the ocean. But bring water shoes. They did not stock my room with coffee pot. I had to ask for the bedding that was missing for the other beds, as well as for beach towels everyday. The regular buffet is 3 star. The other 2 restaurants never had reservations available so we had to eat the dry mediocre food from the regular buffet each day. The power kept going out for an entire day. No one took our luggage to our room. When we asked for a receipt at checkout, we couldn’t get that either, had to take a picture of the computer screen. The room was very clean, views amazing. No kayaks or other aquatic equipment available. The staff were all nice.
