ibis budget Manchester Centre Pollard Street

Had a nice stay there - friendly staff, good location, room has what you need.

Clean, good price. Didn't realise there wouldn't be a kettle however you can hire one.

Clean and functional budget hotel, no frills, good location

Amazing location, basic but completely adequate facilities. For the cheap price we paid I was completely happy to pay the 3 pound 50 for a tray to take to the room along with the Kettle for 2 coffee. Generous supply of 7 tea bags and some caffeinated and decaffeinated, coffee and milk. Ridiculously good value when you are so close to bars, restaurants, another immunities in Manchester. The shower being in the room could be a problem for people who don’t know each other very well sharing the twin, there is a bit of a privacy screen across the shower door, but you would probably want to go and lock yourself in the toilet to get dressed! Didn’t bother us, but just something to be aware of, but the benefit was the room felt more spacious than if the shower had been in a separate en suite. Colin, all we would definitely return and it was only a 20 minute walk to the Etihad and the co-op live so perfect for the concert we’re attending. Across the road is the Leonardo so we just popped over there to have drinks, cocktails, and a nice meal. There is a small restaurant in the building, but it was just very basic with pizza, etc. so not for us. We didn’t try the breakfast.
