This was my most favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It is the upper floor of a private palazzo with a view of expansive gardens. Being off the beaten path was perfect because it was a calm from the very overwhelming city center. The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING and the interior design was a perfect mixture of modern and Italian. I hope to get back to Florence soon, and when I do, I will definitely stay here!

This was our second time visiting Florence, staying at Astra. We loved the beauty of the rooms and surrounding gardens. The staff were very nice and helpful. It's the perfect blend of amenities and self-service for us. We had a B&B-style breakfast and service with 5-star rooms and vibes.

What a special place! Beautiful place, large room and beautifully garden and comfortable and welcoming gathering/common area space where we were treated like old friends. Cannot wait to return.

Amazing boutique Hotel in a historic castle in Florence. Rooms are twice the size of typical hotel rooms and it’s in the perfect location. Our only regret is that we don’t stay there longer.
