The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the property. My room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and a wonderful bed, with a variety of pillows. The greenbelt and a path to the river made walking my dog very enjoyable.

Our room was spacious, with two queen beds plus a sofa and chair facing the sliding glass door with views across the back lawn. Linens were soft, pillows were plentiful, and the room was impeccably clean. Bathroom has been nicely updated but retained its classic blue bathtub. The motel is quiet and off the highway, though of course you’ll hear the occasional train. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, and pretty grounds. This is what an independent motel should be.

They have updated the rooms since I stayed her last several years ago. It was clean, welcoming and nicely prepared for guests. Friendly & easy check in and I love you can park your car in front of your room. Only negative was neighbors living on the property trailers were loud at night, riding a 4 Wheeler around.
