We had a 4 day stay at this hotel and we had a blast it’s an older property but it’s perfect for couples that are on a budget the pools were fun the beach bar has burgers and hotdogs nachos etc for free everyday the food in the dining room was just okay but for the price it fed us we don’t each much on a beach vacation when the sun went down we got to watch giant sea turtles come out of the sea and leave their eggs amazing experience all the staff was extra helpful and we never went without anything we needed but if ur looking for luxury you should stay somewhere else the room was just okay hard bed only sheets that aren’t very fresh i brought bedding and a thin blanket the A/C in the room was ice cold just like we like it but the rest of the hotel is open air with the coolest breeze blowing through the windows and breeze ways there are a lot of steps and i honestly feel like if u speak Spanish like I do it’s a better experience none of the staff there speak English well which was absolutely expected in Mexico lovely time thank you solymar and all your staff

It's a good hotel, not luxury but very good, the location is excellent in zona hotelera. The hotes has semi private beach

My family and I had a great time here. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it has what we were looking for: great location, private beach, clean rooms, good food ( very Mexican style), nice pool for the young ones, and friendly staff. What we saved on this hotel, we spent it on tours!
It’s a good choice for practical and non picky people. If you’re looking for a hotel with the basics, this will meet your expectations. If you want something fancier, pay more!

Property- Please upgrade televisions from 32 inch units with better in room reception and provide internet in the rooms... I understand your a budget hotel and dont have extra money to upgrade but clear television receptions and internet access are very important for relaxation.
The property is very situated with excellent beach front. Sadly, sargasso was an issue as the tides brought it in, it wasnt cleaned up from the water line, and then taken back out to sea with the high tide.
Food was plentiful and the bartenders were friendly.
Pina coladas were terrible, too much reliance on mixer instead of fresh ingredients.
The air conditioning in the room was strong and the pool was relatively clean.
The rooms were spacious but no blankets were included in the room.
Hot water was plentiful for showers.
The all inclusive food plan was good and the cooking was home style.
Overall good value for the money, I would recommend to families on a budget...
