Shenvalee Golf Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. While the rooms are not particularly fancy, they are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. We found the on-site restaurant to be a great addition with reasonably priced food and very attentive, helpful staff. However, there are a few things future guests should keep in mind regarding late-night amenities. The restaurant closes quite early, and there are no vending machines or microwaves available for guest use. This meant that when we returned from exploring, we had to drive back into town for dinner, which was challenging du

My husband and I stay here every year because I participate in the Luray SwimFest at Lake Arrowhead. Although we don't golf, the course and facilities always seem to be well-used, and guests appear to really enjoy them. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We've also enjoyed dining at the restaurant on the property, as well as walking to Southern Kitchen, which is just a short stroll away. Both offer excellent food, great service, and friendly staff. Our annual stay is always enjoyable, and we look forward to coming back each year.

The staff was excellent, the room was very clean and the pool looked nice although I didn’t go in it. There was a breakfast option but it wasn’t free. The room was small I felt but everything worked well and there was a small fridge and a coffee machine in the room. The bathroom was very clean but not modern. The tile in the bathroom was reminiscent of the 1970s or 1980s. The room was very quiet despite being in front of the pool. Most guest probably come for the e Golf but I was in town to work a summer workcamp. I loved the town of New Market and highly recommend visiting Jackson’s corner coffee shop. So good!! Overall I recommend Shenvalee Motelits a nice location, good food and peaceful vibe.

Beautiful views of the golf course. Very one was nice. Food in the grill was good.
