Shenvalee Golf Resort

When thinking a motel room, my expectations were low. Check-in was friendly and helpful. The convenience and ability to park outside of our room was a plus...no lugging of stuff through a lobby. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Wifi good, television choices good, even a fridge. Overall, room exceeded our expectations; just a vintage offering but up-to-date. I hadn't played golf in twenty years, golf team friendly, helpful. Course was welcoming. They suggested we play the Old Course...felt at ease. Miller's was great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My husband enjoyed the free soda refills throughout the day and if not watching calories, try the Blue Ridge Omelet...delicious! Servers were very friendly.

We will be back! The area is lovely, and we didn't have time to explore the battlefields and museum. Plus they have three 9 hole courses...we only played one.

Location was great as we were traveling to NC and it broke up our trip.

Waitress was very flirty with my person - very unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable.

The 3 9 hole golf courses at the resort were awesome. Cute rooms. Plenty of space. Comfortable bed.

Good location and reasonably clean.

The rooms look more dated than they do in the photos. The facilities are not very well maintained.
