The showers have no doors - which is common in Europe. It allows the floor to get wet.

The hotel is located right outside the old city wall, so it's convenient to walk from to explore Nuremberg. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping options in the immediate vicinity. It was also a 10 minute walk from the train station, so that was also easily accessible.
When we arrived, the hotel rooms had been recently refurbished, but the lobby and breakfast area were still undergoing refurbishment. This meant that they were not serving breakfast, though there was a free coffee machine and a vending machine available. The free coffee was pretty awful, I'd recommend avoiding it. Hopefully that's improved when the breakfast area is complete.
Our room was on the 7th floor. It had a slanted ceiling and windows that opened at an angle, which was kind of charming. I'm not sure I would have appreciated it if it were raining, but in the summer sun, it was great and gave a neat view of the nearby city wall. Beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities worked well.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and kind, even tho they had technical issues with the payment terminal that day. Kept apologizing. All in all, a pleasant stay.
