I liked that I could park almost at my door. I found the room a bit small. But the bed was delightful. I was so comfortable. It only had a shower now able to take a hot bath in the tub. I couldn't get the TV remote to respond to my directions. Most likely I don't know how to use it. So no TV. watching for me. I went out for an evening walk and to possibly find a dinner place and the sidewalks in the area of the Inn were difficult to navigate for an 83 year old person. Gave up and came back for my car. All in all I have stayed in better places. The location is ideally located for being in the upper area of town. I haven't stayed in a place in Carmel for a year or so and the prices have gone so high, I think.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel as long as youโre mindful that you get what you pay for. Would recommend to anyone I know.

Walking distance to everything downtown, cozy comfortable clean rooms. Parking lot has enough spaces but it's kind of tight driving through with a pickup truck. If you're on the second floor, you have to carry everything up the stairs.

Considering it's Carmel, this is a very reasonable and exceptionally well situated motel. Wish we could have stayed a week!
