Beautiful and relaxing hotel. So peaceful and a romantic location, perfect for those looking to chill out. Our suite was large, had lovely big fluffy towels and dressing gowns, and yummy smelling bathroom products. We used the gym, which I think is new - it was modern and had all the bits needed to get a work out in, other than yoga mats. We could only stay one night, but we’ll defo be returning for a longer stay. Only negative, I thought it was a little mean to charge €1 for a Nespresso pod in the room. Don’t hesitate, book it!

A historical building sympathetically restored to a very high standard. Breakfast was superb with a great choice. All staff very friendly and helpful. A unique experience.

Beautifully maintained property in a quiet riverside location. Efficient & friendly staff. Our suite was outstanding . Dinner & breakfast excellent.
Only one small criticism - no complimentary water in the room.

The pools are small, shallow and cold. Ideal for a quick cool down, but not for a good swim. More aesthetically pleasing than practical.
The restaurant is delightful, with a good variety of dishes. Although I would have liked a couple of really traditional options to try and t
We both thought that the portion sizes were a little on the small size. Ask for a table overlooking the river when booking. The prices were reasonable for a captured audience.

We felt that there was a shortage of bar staff, particularly as it is a 5* property, and being fully booked the service was a little slow, however Rowena and Ellie were exceptionally hard working and extremely courteous (lovely people).
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel and would return if I was in the area again.
