The hotel is close to everything. We didn't have a car, and we just walked around town to reach the fish market, restaurants, and shops within minutes. The room was so nice and clean. The surroundings from the hotel are very safe. The breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely two-night stay.

The location was great for getting on the train to Oslo early this morning.
But the carpet and upholstery were stained (and older) and the door lock was difficult.
The noise was bothersome
1) street cars (not great insulation, older hotel)
2) A repetitive thumping we believe was from exercise facility from 10:30 PM woke us up
3 Loud young adults returned to hotel from a night on the town, keeping us up until 1:30 AM
Management quieted them after we complained.

Right across the train station and bus terminal. Walkable to food and attractions. Well maintained room and was quiet for us with no disturbances even though we were informed that there was an event happening that evening. Will book again if we visit Bergen again
