My arrival was early; the guy in the reception met me friendly and was very helpfull in order to make my early visit as good as possible.

We loved everything about the hotel - its location in Bryggen, the history of the building and its quirkiness, lovely room, and the breakfast was excellent.
Because it was a twin room, it was up at the top of the hotel in the eaves. It would have been nice to have a room on a floor with lift access and without the stairs to climb up with our luggage, but it really wasn’t a problem for us.

Very nice location, close to everything and just a little off the main street so it was quiet but also close to all the main things to go and do and see
for the money it cost, the room was nothing like the picture ! i was expecting a much more upscale room etc but the room was small and pokey on with not much space to move
