The staff was very helpful and there were many useful features for the rooms. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service the entire week we were there, in a 3rd floor room. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient. We also noted one of the bedroom doors stuck and would not close all the way. The dresser drawers similarly had issues and did not open/close all the way. Overall, it was a good place to stay for the week in the DC area, and we would stay again.

We arrived at 1:30 not expecting to get a room until 3 or at check in. We were pleasantly surprised to get a room. We were given a choice of 1st floor or 4th, but the elevator was broken. (It would be broken for the entire time) Yay! We opted for 1st. Whew! Yay, for early access!
Our initial room, had an air conditioner leak, leaving the floor sopping wet unfortunately. They immediately moved us to another room. This room was clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to get in and out of DC. The hotel’s breakfast was a pleasant buffet (pretty sure we gained weight) and the cookies were delicious! Having a washer and dryer on premises was a BONUS! We came home with clean clothes.
Overall, it was lovely. The rooms are a bit in need of renovation, not bad
just needs to be updated. Ex: light bulb attachment missing from ceiling, paint chipping from the recently painted doors, not having enough pillows, towels for party of 4. The towels and pillows were rectified easily. The staff were super friendly!
