Lovely old property on the edge of town. Front Desk staff on arrival were OK but not hugely communicative (morning team were much better). Same with the bar staff although the prices were pretty good. The room was old but clean and tidy. And HOT, although we were in a UK heatwave at the time. They do provide a fan which helped a bit. Overall a decent place to stay and would stay again if passing by that way again.

Lovely hotel with good service and breakfast. Air conditioning would have been great in the heat wave! But it’s an old building

I booked a single room and was so pleasantly surprised. The decor was nice, room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. I had the best night sleep. I would highly recommend
