Clean and quiet with great "natural AC" from breeze off Lake Superior during the July "heat dome" in MN. A couple minor comments that didn't affect our stay: Deck railing has big gap on bottom and small children could fall off if not constantly attended to. Also deck screen door slightly off kilter.
We loved the breakfast and lounge area with wide views of Lake. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Situated right on the bike trail for great walks and rides.

Wonderful staff and stay!

An ideal location, with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Large decks on every room, really relaxing. The hotel is a bit outdated, the keycard readers were hit and miss, the front desk is not well staffed, but it was an enjoyable stay. There is a light breakfast in the morning, nothing to write home about. We did have an eagle fly past the deck multiple times each day, that was amazing! I recommend staying if you are looking for a low key weekend with a fabulous view.
