Hilton Munich City

Very clean hotel, beds were fantastic and the staff was so friendly!

Great hotel with a nice bar and restaurant, cabs available out front and a fairly simple walk into town!

Great location, helpful staff, we are very happy we stayed there. Parking available, close to all activities.

We almost always look at Hilton first when we're traveling. We've had great experiences at Hilton properties in India, New York, and Hawaii, so it's become one of our go-to hotel brands when we find a good deal. Overall, Hilton Munich City was another solid stay. The hotel staff throughout the property were fantastic. Everyone at the front desk was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better. The S-Bahn station is literally next door, making it easy to get anywhere in Munich. Also, don't miss Yi Da Wan across the street. It ended up being one of our favorite meals. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is entirely because of the restaurant and bar experience. It felt like a completely different hotel. On our first night, the bartender seemed much more interested in chatting with friends than helping guests. On another evening, asking for a dessert menu felt like we were inconveniencing the server. The final straw was during a fire drill. My son and I were waiting for the end of a football match while eating a few bites of our takeout because we were hungry. The restaurant was completely empty, yet we were told we couldn't be there. While I understand policies exist, the interaction lacked any warmth or hospitality. It's unfortunate because the hotel itself deserves much higher praise.
