Rooms were amazing with huge comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, indoor and outdoor showers. Among the nicest rooms I have stayed in.
Infinity pool right on top of a small beach overlooking Koh Phangan was lovely.
We stayed in three places in Thailand this trip and the breakfasts were much better in the other two. A hotel this lovely should have had people making sure things were at least warm. Head chef was standing watching people waiting in the queue for warm eggs, so I took the opportunity to ask him why items which should have been warm were consistently cold. There were piles of cold fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, bacon, etc, under what were supposed to be heat lamps or on hot plates, which nobody was making sure were working. The breakfast choices were generally ok, but a hotel this good should do better.
As an aside, the hotel can’t dictate where its guests come from, but there were a number of very noisy / poorly-behaved guests who pushed in at breakfast to get the table they wanted, shouted around the pool, generally made staff visibly uncomfortable with their rudeness and flew drones around the pool. We chose to move to an older pool away from the beach crowd as a result. I know some countries like shooting with drones, but this and the way they spoke to staff was often inappropriate. I would have liked staff to encourage guests to behave better.

Location, was ok.
We didn’t have the chance to try it, as there was never somebody working there, but the health clinic is very cool idea.
The pools are good, but don‘t expect any atmosphere, service or drinks … the vibe is more of a „magic life club in turkey without the service and german tourists reserving benches with towels before they go to the breakfast“
When you arrive, they don‘t show you where everything is … not like usually when you arrive in a resort.
Stay with the asian breakfast and sweets, everything else tastes like in a retirement home and is actually without taste. Even the bacon … don‘t know how they are able to remove the taste from bacon.
The garden villa is old and smelly, leave on the ac otherwise your stuff will smell like a wet dog.
You can see they have to save on everything and don‘t even provide lotion in the bathroom.
There is nowhere staff to ask for towels or anything, not at one of the pools nor on the beach terrace. and when you call the reception they pick up the phone, but you won‘t achieve anything as they are always busy.
They just close the main breakfast place during day and in the evening … so you can‘t stay there after breakfast and get some work done. at 10:00 the breakfast is closed and at 10:30 they ask you to leave … and this in Koh Samui.
On the day we were leaving, there were at least 3 celes vans, operative with drive, just standing there. non of them could take us quickly to the beach club next door, also to leave the luggage there and pick it up later, was not an option.
If I want this kind of experience, I can go to the ibis next door.
So if you are „half dead“ and like hospital food, I can recommend this hotel.
