What an absolutely wonderful experience at Cielo Boutique Hotel & Spa!
We stayed in a stunning Duplex Suite with a private pool, and everything was simply spectacular. The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The main pool is beautiful, peaceful, and feels wonderfully private, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. The restaurant is equally stunning, with such a warm and inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing cocktails! We especially loved the happy hours, enjoying our favourite Pisco Sours and tequila Palomas together. Those moments became some of our favourite memories from the trip!
But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. From the restaurant and bar team to everyone throughout the hotel, the level of hospitality was exceptional. Every single person made us feel genuinely special and welcome. They were always smiling, incredibly attentive, and often anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. It’s that kind of thoughtful, genuine hospitality that makes a beautiful hotel feel truly extraordinary.
A very special shout-out to BIA and all the wonderful guys at the bar and restaurant! Thank you so much for your kindness, your beautiful smiles, and for making our time at Cielo so memorable. You really made a difference to our holiday, and we will never forget you!
We left Cielo with the happiest memories and already can’t wait to return. We will definitely be back as soon as we can, and a huge part of that is because of the amazing people who work there.

There were honestly very few things we didn’t like about our stay, and these are just a couple of small details that could make an already wonderful experience even better.
We were really looking forward to enjoying the bathtub in our suite. However, when we tried using it, the drain plug seemed to be slightly loose, causing the water level to gradually drop rather than stay full. On top of that, the water pressure was quite low, so it took a long time to fill the bathtub. Unfortunately, this meant the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations, and we didn’t feel encouraged to use it again during our stay.
Another small suggestion would be regarding transportation to Fisherman’s Village. Although it’s only about 10–12 minutes away, it would be a lovely addition if the hotel could consider offering an hourly shuttle service for guests in the future. We believe this would make exploring the area even more convenient and enhance the overall guest experience.
These are genuinely minor observations, and they certainly didn’t take away from how much we loved our stay. We simply wanted to share them as constructive feedback, as Cielo is already such a beautiful and special place.

An absolute dream of a stay and hotel! 🥰
The rooms were spacious and felt so luxurious. We loved the open plan layout. The breakfast was really tasty and the pool area was stunning. The highlight of the stay was the attentiveness of the staff, especially at the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. It was my birthday whilst we were there and to my boyfriends’ request, the staff organised a little surprise in the room which was so beautiful! The location was fab too, just a short walk to Fisherman’s village with lots of bars and restaurants.
We would definitely return to Cielo! Such a gorgeous place with relaxed vibes.
The cash security deposit was a little inconvenient. It meant my partner and I would be left with a large amount of cash at the end of our holiday and unable to make use of that money. However, Kat on reception (who sings wonderfully in the evening by the pool😆) was lovely and gave us the money back a couple days early so we could use it on our trip. Perhaps taking this as card instead would be better.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cielo Boutique Hotel & Spa. 🤍
From the moment we arrived, there was something incredibly special about this place. Our room was absolutely picturesque and immediately made us feel at ease, with this overwhelming sense of calm that stayed with us throughout our entire stay.
The whole property has the most beautiful tropical-meets-European elegance. Everything is incredibly clean, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully presented. You can genuinely see the amount of care, effort and attention to detail that goes into maintaining this hotel. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing, and everything from the facilities to the rooms was comfortable and beautifully considered.
The food deserves its own mention because it was honestly some of the best we had during our trip. The kitchen and chef are incredible. We loved it so much that we consistently ate breakfast, lunch AND dinner here — we barely wanted to eat anywhere else! To say we became obsessed with this place doesn’t even cover it.
I also booked a massage during our stay and it was exceptional. The entire experience just added to how relaxing and special our time here was.
But one of the biggest standouts has to be the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. A very special shoutout to Yaya, who was absolutely incredible. He is genuinely one of a kind and made such an impression on us. Having him there to assist us throughout our stay made the experience even more memorable.
We were also lucky enough to meet the owners, who were fantastic. You can immediately see how much pride they take in their hotel and how much they care about the experience they create for their guests — and it really shows in every little detail.
There is just an amazing energy about Cielo that is difficult to put into words. We are genuinely so sad to leave. This has been one of those places that you don’t just stay at, you actually miss when you leave.

Location is good - close to fisherman’s village and right on the beach (the beach is just ok (sand is rough and water is not clear) but that is not in the control of the hotel). The staff were lovely and accommodating. Small resort which offers classes.
I would say the hotel is not value for money. The room is spacious but as with other reviewers there is limited privacy without closing curtains due to the low gate height (there aren’t many people in the resort but the pathway is also used by restaurant guests so worth noting this).
This is more of a beach club with music playing at all times than a hotel and spa- the main attraction is the pool and access to beach. I would not come here for wellness.
There is no communal area, the only space is the restaurant so limited space (with ac) outside of the room or the pool.
Room cleaning staff appear to be short staffed- sometimes the room is not cleaned until early evening which can be difficult as above there is no communal space outside of the room. The locks were fixed during the stay but the marks left on the window were not cleaned, screws left in the room and at several occasions the cleaning team left the door unlocked (see above re access to property for restaurant guests).
Rooms are not soundproof you can hear when people in the next rooms if they are having a shower or listening to music.
If you are staying for more than 4 days the breakfast will be repetitive - would be better with a partial buffet or wider options on the menu.
These are all issues which I wouldn’t expect for the price I paid. I think there is better options which are cheaper on the same road- see Anantara or Hansar.
