This comfortable, stately apartment measures 137 square meters and features two large bedrooms with double beds (180 x 200 cm) and stucco ceilings, a cozy living room—also decorated with stucco—with a wood-burning stove, a stereo system, a sunroom with a sofa bed (where an extra bed for a child can be added), a modern built-in kitchen with an extendable dining table, as well as one bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet and another bathroom with a shower and toilet. Free Wi-Fi. Up to 2 cribs can be set up in this apartment.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and is accessible by elevator (entrance at Haus Palme 1).
One paid parking space can be booked along with this apartment.
This modernly furnished, striking Art Nouveau building is located on the Old Town Island and on the Strelasund, surrounded by the newly renovated theater, the Knieper Gate, and the medieval city wall.
The buildings at Olof-Palme-Platz 1 and 2 are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and were lovingly and meticulously renovated in 2006.
In just one minute, you’ll reach the Old Market—one of the most beautiful in the Baltic Sea region—or the waterfront, 200 meters further on, you’ll reach the harbor, where boats depart for Hiddensee or Altefähr and where the Ozeaneum is located. Just a few meters from the house are the boat rental at Knieperteich, the Schillanlage, and the Sundpromenade, which leads to the beach.
All apartments at Haus Palme 1 are accessible by elevator.
A large communal rooftop terrace is available to all guests of our building. From here, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Stralsund Theater, the city wall, the Old Town, and the harbor.
A bike storage room is available in the courtyard for bicycles.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis (one parking space per apartment) for 6.00 euros per day.
Additional parking spaces are available in the nearby parking garages “Am Meeresmuseum” and “Am Hafen.”
With a prepaid parking ticket (parking meter/ticket shop/select days), you can leave the parking garage and re-enter as often as you like on the days you’ve paid for.
Paid EV charging stations for electric cars are available in the parking garages.
The Olof-Palme-Platz bus stop for lines 1, 4, and 60 (Night Express) is located right outside the door.
Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 to 10:00.
