Very good house for a nice quiet relaxing stay

Excellent location that fully met our requirements. Facilities very good with everything you would need for any length of stay. Very quiet location.

Found the heating very difficult to comprehend, more important now with the weather cooling, especially the underfloor heating in the living room

Very disappointed

Location was great for the purpose of our trip as only a short walk from the Trafford centre. Seemed like a lovely street / neighbourhood, quiet and peaceful. H

I don't normally do negative reviews but we had an awful stay at this property to say the least. On arrival we noticed the windows wide open and as soon as we accessed the property the smell was disgusting around the full house. We also couldn't use the kitchen all wkend because the smell from the fridge was also vile, my 8 year old was almost sick when she opened it. There were flies everywhere upstairs and downstairs. The smell of dampness from the towels was awful. The bathroom floor feels like it's sinking in part of it, and there is a smell of dampness as if there has been water damage at some point. There was also some mould around the bath / shower area. I'm glad our stay was only 2 nights as I don't think I could have stayed there a further night. It was really upsetting as this trip was for my daughter's 8th birthday and we couldn't wait to leave the property as we felt dirty and our clothes stank from the smell of the house. I contacted Jordan after we had checked out and he was very honest in his response that the previous people who had been in the house had left it in a poor state and the cleaner had tried to clean up / air out the property which would explain why the windows were open fully on our arrival (this would explain why there was so many flies) . Jordan advised I should have contacted to advise of the issues whilst in the property and offered to refund for any cleaning things we had to buy however I remained unhappy with this. There was no clean smell as if the house had been deep cleaned not even an air freshner in sight and basic things like the towels surely the cleaner would have been able to smell the damp whilst folding them. We felt dirty when we left & even the clothes we didn't wear had to be washed as soon as we got home as the smell was awful.
