Great location - close to the heart of it all but on a very peaceful street. Felt very safe. Was noisy on weekend night but otherwise very quiet.
Rooms were clean.
They store luggage for you for no additional cost which is hugely helpful on travel days. On checkout day, we were able to spend the day in the city and then come back to the hotel around 5 pm to get our luggage and head out.
The breakfast is really good. Loved the selections and quality.
As to be expected, the rooms are not huge. However, they had what we needed and made good use of the space.
This is a small thing but the door to the bathroom would not stay open and because there was no fan, it would get steamy in there when taking a shower. We had to use a suitcase to prop the door open to keep airing out the bathroom as it would get ridiculously humid in there. Again, not a huge deal but just an fyi.
It was not cheap. But you get what you pay for and Amsterdam is not a cheap place. For this price, you get convenience (elevator, luggage storage, prime location). We added on the breakfast which was another upcharge but I am glad we did as it was high quality and a nice way to start the day.

It was such a comfortable stay. They have nice cozy lounge, their interior was beautiful (though American and not Dutch), the kitchen was decent, and the room was nicely furnished and clean. Unlike many Airbnb in Amsterdam, we didnt have stairs issue, and the laundry facilities are good. They offer free access to coffee machines. The gym feels Nordic with a wooden design. Staff were competent and attentive. You can have more convenient stay in apartment compared to Airbnb, and enjoy a nice common area.
A little pricy given the not-so-central location (Nice area to walk around though!) It's a matter of personal taste, but given that the hotel is in a historical Dutch building, the interior didn't feel Dutch - it felt very American. It's not bad though. I just thought that since the building and the area were characterful, they could accommodate some Dutch-ness. We didnt try breakfast but it looked a bit ordinary.
