About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental welcomes you with a breathtaking view of the Chiemgau mountains, which our guests can enjoy from their private terrace or from our beautiful 1,500 m² garden. Built in the Upper Bavarian style, the house features a fully equipped vacation rental for up to 5 people and is particularly well-suited for couples or families with children. The center of Unterwössen—with its tourist information office, “Almenwelt” (mountain pasture exhibition), grocery stores, a bakery offering breakfast, an ice cream shop, a pharmacy, a hair salon, bike rentals, and a Kneipp facility on the Wössner Bach—is just a 10-minute walk away.
A family-friendly, spacious, and bright ground-floor vacation apartment. The well-equipped apartment sleeps up to 5 people and features a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom/children’s room with a single bed and an additional bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a separate toilet, a closet, a large living room with a dining area and a sofa, and a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dining table. All rooms are accessible from a spacious hallway and are equipped with roller shutters. Beautifully furnished south-facing terrace with lounge chairs, an awning, and barbecue facilities, plus shared use of the large garden with a fire pit and children’s playground—mountain views included! Free parking is available right next to the vacation rental, and free Wi-Fi is provided.
The location in the beautiful Achental Valley is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours to the lovely alpine pastures and peaks on the surrounding mountains—all starting right from your vacation rental. You can also take a refreshing swim in the natural swimming area at Lake Wössner, enjoy a Kneipp treatment in one of the largest Kneipp facilities on the Wössner Stream, cycling along the Achental Circular Trail or around Lake Chiemsee, or enjoying a breathtaking sightseeing flight over the Chiemgau Mountains and Lake Chiemsee with the Unterwössen Gliding School. In winter, you’ll find well-groomed trails for cross-country skiing and skating, cleared winter hiking trails, and a small family lift on the Balsberg. The Winklmoos-Alm/Steinplatte ski area is just 20 minutes away. With the guest card, you can also use the Achental bus line for free to visit the surrounding towns or explore the numerous sights between Munich, Salzburg, and Tyrol.
