The staff were very friendly and helped us when the main light didn’t work. Cosy pub feel and the food was good.
Pillows were too big for me, not really a deal breaker but there was only one so couldn’t swop it.

It was clean and quiet.
There was a light bulb missing from the bedside lamp. The clock needed a battery, the door was difficult to open and the tap in the shower room needed adjustment.

The bed was very comfortable and the pub/hotel is located in a small village centre with easy access in/out and plenty of shops around.
I probably shoud've known better booking a pub hotel but the music from the pub was extremely loud in the room and when I asked the owner about what time it would be turned down, he said 'in 45 minutes' and it still kept going way past 11pm. Don't book if you need to get a good night's sleep. May I add the price per night was high.
