Two of us were bikepacking. There are very few options in this area and thought a house would give a flavour of life. Which it did. The place is spacious. The washing machine works nicely and the hosts gave washing powder. Its a few k from town but the manager organised a tuk tuk to the (very small) Cargills. The kitchen is decent enough. Rooms big. Beds comfy. And very secure compound. The owner was excellent at communication.
It was not at all clean. Lots of thick black hairs everywhere. And the bathroom wasn't that pleasant to feel clean in. The kitchen equipment was all sticky to the touch. It is a way out of town and making your own way to get provisions can be tricky without a tuk tuk.

Excellent stay for one night while traveling by tuk-tuk to Jaffna. All amenities are available.

The location, the space, the hygiene and the facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this property. The manager / caretaker of the property are doing a wonderful job. The location is safe and I made some good friends around. My request to the owner of this place is if he ever intends to sell this property, I would like to be offered to purchase it!!!
