We loved our stay at Anacreonte and Nicole is one of the nicest hosts I've ever come across. The apartment itself is located in a quiet part of town, but still close to everything. It's spacious and nice, and the roof terrace adds that little extra touch (shared with others, but I never saw someone else there). There was a townwide problem with the water when we were there, which is a general issue in Ortigia due to old and outdated pipes. Nicole kept us informed throughout and came by with loads of water as soon as she could. She is in the process of installing a private pump that will make the apartments less vulnerable to the city problems. She also saw that it was my son's birthday, and bought a decorated cake that she put in the fridge for us when we were out. All in all a great place with a great host - more than great value for the money.

Lovely loft style 2 bedroom accommodation in a fabulous location. Air conditioning and coffee machine. Generous space in lounge and kitchen. Host gave us local snacks and wine (soo lovely!). Washing machine and clothes airer rack was helpful.
The internet dropped out twice but this was a fuse issue in the hallway that we had to reset. We did run out of hot water in the morning and the water pressure was lacking.

Very good location on Ortigia Island - walkable to everything
Apartment was spacious comfortable and everything worked well - air con, WiFi etc
Host Nicole was very helpful and friendly - she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed
Very nice roof terrace which is shared with a couple of other apartments, but I never saw anyone else up there, possibly because of the external staircase you need to climb to access it
Overall, it was a great choice and we really enjoyed our stay. We had 5 nights and could have done with a couple more
If you bring a car, it's worth paying $25 a day for the valet parking just across the road, because there's nowhere nearby you can park on the street due to resident's parking restrictions on Ortigia Island. It works well - they are open from 7am until 11pm, so easy to come and go each day
A few minor points, but they didn't spoil our stay:
Bear in mind that you need to go up a couple of flights of stairs to access the apartment, which may be an issue for some people
The kitchen would benefit from a couple of new sharp knives for cutting bread/vegetables etc
It got dark about 7pm when we visited in early October and there doesn't seem to be a light on roof terrace, so it's effectively unavailable after darkness falls

The apparent is big and it is good for maximum of 2 people… the location is almost perfect…
The apartments are maybe 3! Our has problem with the bed - the mattress was awful… the water flow rate was terrible and the water in the toilet didn’t stop! Also we were 7 days and only they give us one extra set of towels! No cleaning! Parking is so faraway and it is ZTL zone!
