Property was very well located in the heart of the old Ortigia very close to the Temple of Apollo
Minor issues included an unpleasant odour coming from the shower drain. I booked a transfer with the property but the day before arrival I discovered a car rental which cost almost the same for a 1 week rental as the one way transfer. So I cancelled the transfer rather last minute. I was given a tongue lashing from the host about how inappropriate it was to o this. It may have been last minute, but I didn’t deserve the lecture as a first impression to my host.

A wonderful apartment located in a quiet street, yet close to all the main attractions.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy! It is beautifully and stylishly furnished, and we truly enjoyed our stay, feeling right at home.
The host was excellent, providing clear check-in instructions and being available whenever we needed any information.
Talete Parking is just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, and we found a free parking space without any problems, even though it was the weekend! We used the EasyPark app to pay for parking.
All in all, our stay at Stay In Ortigia exceeded all our expectations, and we would definitely love to return!
Highly recommended! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“We loved the location in the heart of Ortigia. The apartment was charming, comfortable and perfect for experiencing the atmosphere of the historic center. We really enjoyed feeling part of Ortigia during our stay.”
We loved the location and really enjoyed our stay in the heart of Ortigia. Although the street works were not the property’s responsibility, we would have appreciated being informed in advance, as the mud and construction affected the surroundings and the overall experience.

New and renovated, good location in Ortigia, very friendly hosts, very clean
There was construction work in the room next door, which was quite loud. The room was not well insulated, so we could hear noise from inside and from the street. The room was also quite dark and didn’t feel very cozy, especially when the weather was bad. The TV was not in front of the bed, which was not ideal. The hot water only lasted about 5–7 minutes. Also, small lights on the wall stayed on during the night and were disturbing.
