Everything! The location is magical and the service was above and beyond. We loved our room with the plunge pool, the ease of having food brought to us, the spa services and the general chill vibe of the whole place.
Nothing stands out - they took care of everything little detail. It’s worth noting that you’re on an island with limited resources and so sometimes the food wasn’t “perfect” but it was still amazing.

My husband and I recently stayed at Waya Island Resort for three nights, and it was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing, welcoming, and attentive. The grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained, and there are different activities offered throughout the day, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
One of my favorite things about our stay was the weekly happy hour. The owner personally comes out to greet the guests, mingle, and make everyone feel welcome, and the drinks are on the house! I thought that was such a special and personal touch.
Another wonderful perk was that each guest receives a complimentary 10 minute foot massage. After traveling and exploring, it was such a nice way to relax.
Our stay included all of our meals, and overall, we thought the food was pretty good. The resort itself was very clean, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
We truly had no complaints about our stay. Waya Island Resort was everything we hoped for and more, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing island getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Настолько вкусную еду не ели ни на одном острове на всем нашем пути пребывания на Фиджи. Персонал был всегда приветлив, ландшафт острова зачаровывал, а небо заставляло смотреть на него бесконечно. Хоть и в наше пребывание на острове были очень большие волны и не удалось воспользоваться каяками, нам не удалось заскучать на нем. Отдельно хочу отметить возможность игры в волейбол с местными: весело, интересно и дружелюбно. Спасибо за приятное времяпровождение, мы вернемся сюда обязательно!

Watersports equipment free to use, some very friendly, helpful staff, good rooms, a beautiful island and a great spa. Several fun activities during the day, some included in the price. Good breakfast.
Very limited food options or variety for lunch and dinner most days (hopefully you really like pizza!). Options were especially poor for vegetarians, which is somewhat expected in Fiji, but crucially very bad for the price we paid. We stayed at broadly similar resorts in Fiji as part of the same holiday (honeymoon) for half the cost, some with better food. Particularly if it's a windy day, there's not much you can do so you're spending a lot of money to sit by a small pool and eat average food. The reef is beautiful but quite far from the beach compared to other resorts we stayed in, and they expect you to swim across the boat path to get out. Also not allowed in the sea after 5pm even if it's still sunny and perfect conditions. Almost no evening activities/entertainment on most evenings and a very small playlist in the restaurant so some may get bored/annoyed! Most day activities rushed and some overpriced.
