We loved everything about our stay here. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was spacious and comfortable. The bath tub was incredible and felt like a private onsen. There's a small kitchen if you want to bring home some fruit, ramen, etc. Besides being a lovely room, there were several perks. The central location to Kyoto station and surrounding restaurants meant we could do most things on foot. When we needed a bus or train, a station was within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The hotel has several lounging areas so you don't feel cooped up in your room, if you do feel the need to get out. There are free snacks and drinks, free access to records to play in the comfort of your room, a convenient and quick breakfast available if you're planning an early morning adventure, daily short movie screenings for something a little different, and even an art gallery and bookshop, all in the hotel!
Our only regret was not staying here longer.

Good location close to Kyoto Station
The snacks in the lounge all seemed stale - like they had been sitting in their containers for a long time

Large rooms great for a family of 4. Nightly movies are so much fun and great library. Good beds. Staff is very friendly!
3 out of the 4 beds had hair on them when we checked in. 2 had short hairs and the 3rd had long hair. Room was dusty over all needed to be wiped down. The club coffee/tea machine was broken quite a bit.
