Warm and cosy room with fantastic views. Heater was on for our arrival with toasty warm towels in the bathroom.

Comfortable room, very clean with amenities to cook or heat food. Eating options in July are limited because restaurants/ cafes apart from the Hermitage hotel are closed. Best to check this before booking in winter months. We enjoyed the experience of staying in the village at base of Mt Cook.

It would be helpful to have a easy to see sign somewhere to let the customers know where to check in. I drove around and went to a different business then got advised that need to go to the hotel reception to check in.
The outdoor areas could be better for a place with that price range.
Indoor was good enough.
Overall experience was good.

This was a beautiful room in a very beautiful, dramatic setting. It was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. TV was a bit fiddly to get working but overall very nice. My only gripes were a) the fridge... too small and not cold enough, b) the tiled shower floor was extremely slippery when wet, be careful!!! and c) you had to call reception to turn the heating up or down, which they only seemed to do after about three attempts. Otherwise, great.
