We absolutely loved our stay here and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Nice. The location is fantastic and made it so easy to explore the city, the port and the surrounding area.
The host was amazing throughout our stay — incredibly kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated how responsive and welcoming they were, and it made our experience even better.
Having a kitchen was such a great bonus. There is a lovely local grocery store just around the corner, so we were able to buy fresh ingredients and enjoy some of the wonderful produce Nice has to offer.
The bathroom was another highlight, especially the beautiful rainfall shower, which felt luxurious after a long, hot day of exploring.
Although the main air conditioning was out of order during our stay, the portable air conditioner worked amazingly well. Nice has been extremely hot, but once we placed the exhaust vent out the window and kept the blinds closed, the apartment stayed wonderfully cool. It actually became too cold at night, and we had to turn the temperature up!
The apartment is loft-style, so it may not be ideal for someone very tall. There are also a few stairs to climb and a narrow staircase leading to the loft, but we found this added to the apartment’s charm — and it was probably good for us after eating ice cream and baguettes all day!
We were surprised to hear that others had been negative, as we genuinely had such a lovely stay. It is a charming, comfortable apartment in an amazing location, with a wonderful host. We would absolutely stay here again.

Sehr gute Lage, schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung.

Location
We booked the property well in advance the heatwave, so there was no chance to predict if AC would help or not: when we arrived to the place, it was not properly connected, which caused the room to be extremely hot. We managed to fix the issue by ourselves, which made the room livable.
Room height was problematic even for a normal-height person, you cannot stand straight in the shower or kitchen area.
No elevator + top floor + extremely narrow staircase. Even though with pictures on Booking.com you can see that stairs leading to the room will be a challenge, they are triple of that: you cannot get the big luggage up to the room by yourself.
