Das Onsen war toll, die Lage sehr schön am Berg mit viel Ausblick

The view from the hotel was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean, with choice of colourful yukatas. The Onsen was well designed with indoor and outdoor baths (& free ice cream after). Staff were helpful when we needed extra pillows.
There was no "private bathroom" in the room although this was listed in our booking confirmation. So no shower or bathtub in the room, only toilet with sink/vanity. This surprised totally us. The staff informed that all (or most?) rooms had no bathroom which may explain why the Onsen was crowded at the shower area, but less so in the bath area. Need to clarify if anything was lost in translation!
Also the half board option was buffet for both breakfast and dinner (usually dinner is table service), something we did not expect.The buffet had a good selection of Japanese cuisine, also some western options. Unfortunately the buffet spread for the 2 days we stayed were repeated (the mains did not change). Hope this can be improved.

朝夕食どちらも満足でした。
夜景もすごく良かったです。
母の誕生日で泊まらせて貰って部屋などの要望を
快く対応していただいてすごく嬉しかったです。
1つあげるなら喫煙室が廊下から丸見えだったのが
ちょっとでした。
