The best stay on our Salkantay trek by far.
Comfortable beds & the best shower I've had in Peru.
Exceptional food by trek standards (loved the pico de gallo and trout)
Also just really friendly people. They also make their own coffee and do a tour of how it's made.
Overall it was just such a pleasant and relaxing vibe being there amongst the trees and hummingbirds etc.
A spate of sandflies arrived whilst we were there, nothing that can be done about that of course except obviously do bring insect repellent as they leave really itchy bites.

We have not stayed as we decided to continue to Llactapata, but we had lunch there and it was really tasty.
Electricity was out and there was no wifi and no cell signal. I guess it’s not under their control
$$$$
