Stunning view. Comfortable and spacious accommodation, fridge was a bonus as was the coffee maker and kettle.
Walls are very thin so you could hear everything from the neighbours next door. Not great if they are noisy! Wifi was very poor. Cups are very small, no bowls or spoons.

It was beautiful!
A little bit of a walk to town.

We picked Refugio da Suite 5 because of it's location and it did not disappoint. The location in the town of Casal de Loivos is very high up on the cliff above the Douro River. The views of the surrounding area, vineyards and the river are spectacular. The accommodations were nice and had a patio looking out over the view of olives, fruit trees and many hillside vineyards.

Great view from the balcony.
Walls were paper thin, could hear every noise from the next door room. No local facilities and no option to heat food.
