Lots of stairs for maisonette. Poor mattresses meant restless sleep. Had to buy many extra things for kitchen as weren’t

Very good location. Close to bus stop and accessible short bus ride to Mill Hill or Edgware. Three bedrooms was helpful and so was having a kitchen. Heating worked well though had to lower individual room radiators.

The fact that it’s a maisonette wasn’t properly advertised. There were lots of stairs! There were good instructions for check-in provided but challenging in practice in the pouring rain. The key for the outer door was found alongside the building, towards the back in a keysafe alongside three others. It was trial and error till we worked out which one was the correct one. Once inside that first front door there’s a common hallway with no light. Instead of a key, there’s a combination lock which is difficult to see without a torch. Once opened, there’s a set of stairs that greet you to get to the landing with the living room and kitchen further stairs to get to the bedroom. That’s a lot of stairs if you’re lugging suitcases like we were. The mattresses are completely shot. The springs bite into your back I had to use pillows to keep them at bay. It’s false economy to have beds which are poor quality. The beds in the master bedroom were low. My sister fell of her bed. There were no chairs in the room to sit on. Only 2 teaspoons for an entire flat? No dish towels. Had to buy some. Togeher with more paper towels to keep surfaces clean. No scissors. Bought a pair. My bedroom wardrobe had no catch to keep it closed. Had to manually hold it shut to get access to the bed. The light in the foyer outside the door was out. Had to use the torch on the mobile. Only 2 drinking glasses were provided. I had to buy some more. No chopping board. Bought one. Need a shower mat and wall grip. Could be dangerous for older people. Shower in master bedroom was either scalding hot or cold and hard to regulate and maintain a comfortable temperature. The cordless hoovers didn’t seem to work so well. We liked to keep the place tidy but ended up having. To clean with a broom and dustpan as the cordless hoover was no picking up. The parking permit would have been handy for when my daughter picked us up.

Clean well equipped home with lots of room for our family of 5. Great location close to local shops and restaurants. Less than 30 minutes into central London by public transport which was great for our family holiday!
