The bathroom in the 2-person dorms were shared with another 2-person dorm room. This meant that the people in the other room would forget to unlock the door that lets us access the bathroom. Huge inconvenience when this happens in the middle of the night.

Place is clean and comfortable. Good food.
Not as good as it is in the pictures. Though the room met the expectations, outside pics paint a slightly better picture than the reality.

The rooms were nice, the bathrooms were great, and the balcony offered an amazing view. I particularly appreciated that the beds were cleaned and arranged every day, and the lockers provided were very useful. Most of the staff members were polite, helpful, and communicated well.
The hostel is also a great choice for people who want to experience the actual vibe of a hostel, enjoy its amenities, and have opportunities to socialise with fellow travellers. It has a lot to offer in that regard.
The bunk beds lacked privacy curtains, which would have made a significant difference for guests sharing a dorm. The ₹500 deposit for the keycard also felt excessive, especially considering that the card did not work properly.
While two of the managers were very helpful and communicated clearly whenever I had questions, my interactions with the staff member who appeared to handle reception most frequently were often frustrating due to unclear communication. More consistent and professional communication from the management would significantly improve the experience.
Personally, I felt that the hostel was a little too extravagant for solo travellers who spend most of their days exploring Meghalaya and primarily need a comfortable place to return to at night. Although the amenities are excellent, not every traveller will make enough use of them to justify the overall experience.
