Kooii Apartments

The location was excellent for being close to Quivr the venue that we were mostly at during our stay. The location also was close to great restaurants and directly opposite the Wickham which was a great pub.

What could have been better.... There were a few aspects of our stay that could have been improved. Firstly, I was not made aware when booking that the apartment was not serviced daily. Having the bed made, fresh towels provided and rubbish removed would have been appreciated, particularly during a longer stay. The towels supplied were also of poor quality and very small, and I had to request fresh ones. There was no soap holder in the shower, which was inconvenient. The shower gel provided was in such a small container that it was difficult to dispense. A much better solution would be to install a shelf in the shower with securely fixed dispensers for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Another concern was the demolition work taking place in the building next door. Work commenced at 7 am on a Saturday, which was very disruptive. This is something that should ideally be disclosed to guests at the time of booking. There were also no ice cube trays in the freezer. When I enquired about this, I was advised that they were considered a health hazard and therefore not supplied. I found this surprising, as there are surely hygienic alternatives available. Overall, I would happily consider staying at Kooii Apartments again because of the excellent location. However, I would choose a different apartment from the one we stayed in, as several aspects of the room and its amenities fell short of expectations.

Love the pool, even though its cold, the spa is very warm and lovely. Dont forget to push the button for lots of bubbles. Its behind the pillar. The 1 bedroom apartment was great and bed was comfy. The rooftop is not to be missed especially at night. Amazing views and the red light effects look incredible in photos. Really enjoyed The Wickham across the street for dinner. Great value meal and a fun drag show

The couch was very low. A cutting board and sharp knife would have come handy in the kitchen.

nice, clean apartment with lots of floor to ceiling windows. Everything we needed was in the unit. Walking distance from the various Fortitude Valley venues we visited.

The doof-doof noise from some disco somewhere close by was awful. Very loud, and it only stopped at 11pm. We wonder if that's the case there every night.
