All around a good place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel overall. The pool and jacuzzi were great, although the lack of bathroom facilities in the pool area was a little inconvenient. One thing to be aware of is that parking is not included with your booking. Valet parking is around $60 per day. The nearest public car park is about a 5-minute walk away and costs approximately $30 per day, but it does not allow unlimited entry and exit, so you’ll be charged again each time you leave and return. If you’re planning to visit South Bank, an Uber costs around $17 each way. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A lovely surprise was receiving a complimentary piece of cake for our son, who celebrated his birthday during our stay. It was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. The room service team was also excellent. The only downside was that there was just one staff member at reception during both check-in and check-out, which resulted in long waits. We had to wait quite a while to check out because the same staff member was also assisting guests checking in. This appeared to be a staffing issue rather than the fault of the employee, who remained professional and helpful. A real bonus is the hotel’s convenient walking distance to Howard Smith Wharves, making it easy to enjoy the restaurants and riverside atmosphere.

great view nice high floor (22nd) .. helpful staff .. one of the best breakfasts I have had all cooked just righ .. location was very close to many things .. room seemed to be not made up correctly with a missing bathrobe and the toiletries had a few missing and bins unlined(although maybe they are meant to be like that)) overall great spot

We had an incredible stay at the Marriott. The staff were so accommodating and made my daughter’s birthday weekend such a special time.
