Friendly service. We arrived late because of a delayed flight but the door person was helpful. Our room lock didnt work at first so eddy changed us to a different unit on a different floor.

Honestly, I cannot rave about this place enough. After spontaneously deciding to stay an extra day in the city, I had to quickly look around for another hotel and found The Flat NYC near the Flatiron Building. From the outside, it looks a bit like a hole-in-the-wall, but walking in, you are immediately greeted by a warm smile and an inviting employee ready to help. When I walked into my room, everything was clean and orderly—you can tell the place is really well maintained. The toilets and showers are shared, but I didn't have any issues with waiting during my stay since there are multiple available. You can tell they really thought this concept through, and their time and effort clearly show. My next trip to NY will definitely be booked with them again; they offer a great rate while keeping the space incredibly clean. If I could, I would rate this a 6 out of 5. I cannot recommend this place more to any travelers visiting.

The room was clean and actually spacious for a smaller NYC hotel room. The bed was spacious; I got a full-size bed, and it was actually comfortable! The shared bathroom made me nervous at first, but after actually using it, it was totally fine. Not weird at all. I would stay here again for sure.
