High quality throughout, everything was immaculate.

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of local produce well cooked.
Roadworks are causing the inn huge problems and I hope they get some compensation for drop in trade
Road diversion signs need to be clearer for travellers arriving in the dark who don’t know the area

Beautiful layout. Kept the original features with a modern twist.

Lovely property, stylish with charm, waiting staff friendly and helpful, food good.
Complete lack of communication. Just a tiny note at the bottom of an email about the access being blocked by roadworks leading to an hour wasted following google as instructed. Four phone calls unanswered. Only when I arrived did they tell me there is a back entrance to the carpark. Total lack of understanding. And then being corralled into the carpark at 3am because of a false fire alarm. Lots of disgruntled customers who would have appreciated some understanding words from the management. Such a pity as the hotel is lovely, the junior staff are lovely, but I wouldn't stay there again.
