About this house rental
A charming little house of nearly 70 square meters, renovated in the spring of 2022, with plenty of 1920s and 1930s charm at the foot of the Schlossberg—rated 3 stars by the DTV since 2024! The living area, with its variety of seating options and well-equipped kitchenette, invites you to linger and daydream. The small, bright room in the adjoining shower bathroom makes good use of the space. A washer/dryer in the basement is also available. The view and access to the terrace are located right next to the bathroom. In keeping with Westerburg’s location, the forest is a recurring theme in almost every room. This is also true of the two unique bedrooms, each approximately 13 square meters in size, which are accessed via the rustic staircase to the first floor and via the steep ladder to the attic. Modern electric flat panel radiators provide heat and also purify the air—all electronically adjustable to your preferences. We require that the rooms be properly ventilated. A grocery delivery service is also available to you. A one-time fee is charged for final cleaning! Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the vacation home!

The Petermännchen vacation home is a nearly 70-square-meter, non-smoking house from the 1920s, spread over 3 floors and completely renovated in 2022, located in the heart of Westerburg with a 3.5-square-meter shower room, a 200x200 cm double bed with comfortable cold-foam mattresses (firm and medium-firm) on the first floor and a 160x200 cm double bed in the attic, both approximately 13 square meters in size. Smart TV with access to streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video), radios, CD player, games, books (German and English), audiobooks, various pleasant light sources, well-equipped kitchen with: dishwasher, microwave/convection oven, 2-burner stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Senseo Duo coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, small blender, etc. A private terrace in the small backyard and a private parking space are also available. Perfect for 1–4 adults or a family with children. The view of the historic Westerburg railway bridge from the dining table and the short walk into town make this a great spot. Hiking and biking trails start practically right outside the front door, and it’s not too far from the train station either!
On-site costs: The price includes: bed linens (changed every 14 days), towels (changed weekly), some tea and Senseo pods to get you started, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, dish towel, kitchen towel, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, facial tissues, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video access, washing machine, and cleaning of the accommodation every 14 days for longer stays. We’re also happy to offer a grocery delivery service—simply send us your requests after your booking is confirmed, and your fridge will be stocked and waiting for you. You can also take advantage of our laundry service. Please let us know your exact arrival time at least 1 day before arrival.
